Each school year, select high school students have the opportunity to support our staff and teach younger students in our online classes.

Become a Mentor

Join Weekly Classes

All of our Mentors in this program start as students themselves in our Weekly Basics program.

Complete Basic 3

All prospective mentors must complete up to Basic 3 in order to teach in our younger classes.

Mentors must be in 9th grade or higher.

Attend Summer Training

Summer training dates for 2022 will be posted on our Calendar page soon!

This training reviews the necessary information our Mentors will need in order to succeed in the classroom.

Join the Class!

Once our Mentors are selected and trained, they will be assigned a class that works with their schedule. They will teach with us for the whole school year!

Benefits of Mentorship

Our Mentorship Program places you in the role of a teacher, giving you a chance to experience a new perspective on art through the eyes of an educator. As an mentor, you’ll work with young students in Kindergarten – 3rd Grade and help them reach their true potential. Through student mentorship, you’ll gain confidence and critical thinking skills that help in all aspects of life.

The Mentorship Program will help you build critical skills in communication, short & long term problem solving, patience, and time management. If you are looking for a unique opportunity to develop your leadership skills while mentoring the next generation of artists, then this program is for you.
